How 2080 works

Every task gets its status automatically

When you add a task, 2080 calculates its status based on dependencies, start dates, and assignments. You never set a status manually.

Connect tasks with dependencies

Mark a task as "blocked by" another task. When the blocker is completed, the next task automatically becomes available. Plan a whole project upfront and 2080 will surface the right task at the right time.

Add tasks with natural language

The quick add bar understands dates, tags, and lists, so you can capture tasks in seconds without touching a menu.

Also supports start Monday, due in 3 days, due next Friday, and more.

Focus on what's actually actionable

Focus Mode is a full-screen view that shows only your available tasks — everything you could pick up right now, and nothing else. No sidebar, no distractions. Filter by tag or sort by due date to zero in, and exclude lists or tags in Settings so Focus Mode only ever surfaces the work you want to see there.

Review and clean up weekly

Review Mode walks through every task one by one. For each, decide: keep it, edit it, or delete it. Run a review weekly to clear stale tasks and start fresh.
