In this 2080 update, you’ll learn how we’re approaching filters and how you can test them!
🤖 Automated completion status = complete
After rigorous building & testing, we’re happy to share that the automated completion status we envisioned as a core feature months ago is now fully functional.
Automated comple-what? If this doesn’t sound familiar, please read our previous update to learn what this revolutionary feature can do for you. Basically, you’ll only get to see what you can do right now automatically, based on data you associated with a task whenever you created or edited it.
👁️ Feature highlight: Filters
A productivity app should do 2 things for you: helping you organize, and helping you decide what to do next. For these, 2080 comes with a Planning mode and a Focus mode.
Planning mode (the default mode upon logging in) now has a modular filter set, allowing you to easily filter by list membership, priority, tag, and many others. You can also create and save custom filters.
Focus mode has also been developed further – pressing one button (next to the logo in the top left) creates a view of every task you can do now, with any clutter removed from view. This means you won’t need to tinker with filters any longer just to create an actionable view.
🛣️ Our roadmap: when will 2080 launch?
We’re getting close. This beta release is only 3 features short of a first full release. We are already working on the following features that we consider must-have before launching:
- A cleaner task list overview
- A better user interface for creating/editing tasks
- A mobile version, compatible with iOS & Android
Our goal is to launch this summer. We hope you’re as excited as we are!
📣 Let us know what you think!
For now, please create your account on my.2080.app and provide feedback on the features listed above. Is everything working as expected? Are you running into bugs? Or do you have a must-have suggestion? Use the feedback button in the bottom right to submit as much feedback as you want. We really appreciate it and will be taking it into account for further development.
